We cleaned out the pig accommodations yesterday, gave them some fresh straw and let them frolic in the dog run during the process.
Moose and Tally weren't quite sure what to think of the whole thing. The pigs are absolutely fearless. They get these excitement bursts and run full speed around the dog run (as evidenced in the fourth and fifth pictures above), bucking like broncos and generally being totally adorable.
Then we took a short hike up to the lower food plot to wear the mutts out and play some horseshoes. Despite the lack of sand in our horseshoe pits, I beat both Jay and BiL in two games.
I would have posted this yesterday, but I left my camera up at the pits, and after searching for it all day today, Jay finally suggested that I may have left it up there, and he was right. Whiskey might have had something to do with that. Maybe.
Those piggies are soooo dang cute!! I wish I could've been there when they came. They look like they like playing with the dogs.
