www.virtualappalachia.com

Guess what? I dislike my job at the post office very much (they also cut my hours back to practically nothing), so something needed to be done about it. I started thinking about offering virtual tours to real estate agents a while ago, started creating a website for my idea, bogged on finishing it, and then got a fire lit under me and finished it today. I sent an email blast to every real estate agent's email I could find within a 60-mile radius of us and already got a response back for a potential shoot.

Selling is definitely not my strong point, so I hope that the website does all the explaining for me and people will just line up to pay for my services. That would be AWESOME.

Please check out my site at www.virtualappalachia.com and let me know what you think! I welcome any comments or feedback you may have to share.

  1. NICE! I bet after a few agents use the site you'll have all the work you need.

  2. Love it, clean design!
You could put out a flyer about the website and go around to local RE offices. Sometimes all it takes is some chit-chat with the secretary to get the flyer in agent's mailboxes or on the bulletin board. Many offices still hold a weekly morning meeting where you can do a short and sweet presentation to the entire office... it can pay off (especially when you bring grub!)
But in the meantime to get the ball rolling, you could drop off a flyer or doorhanger at nearby listings themselves. HIT 'EM FROM ALL ANGLES!

  3. I highly recommend Sarah Anna Noce for her photography of home sites! She did a wondersful job profiling our home in Bonny Doon, California. It sold quickly in a market at the time that was highly iffy! Go Sarah!! Describe those handsome home features with aplomb.
